Middle School (6th and 7th Grade)

We are excited to open 8th Grade for the 2025-2026 School year!

Certified Teachers

All of our Middle School Teachers are certified to teach in Texas and meet Highly-Qualified status requirements.

Accredited

We are accredited through Cognia (formerly AdvancEd).

Curriculum

We follow the Texas TEKS when modeling our curriculum for our Middle School Grade level.  We use the Science of Reading, Go Math, and hands-on or project-based learning for Science and Social Studies.

Bible Lessons

Each day, our Middle School students have dedicated Bible time.  They learn Bible stories, memory verses, and participate in group discussions about what the Bible story means to them in their lives.  We use MyTribe as a part of our Bible curriculum.

Praise and Worship

On Fridays, our entire School will participate in Praise and Worship time together.  We invite our parents to join us for this special time.  We will sing songs and have classes lead our celebration of Jesus.  Praise and Worship songs are also used daily in our classrooms during Bible Lessons and for Brain Breaks.

Meals and Snacks

Students are responsible for bringing their own lunch and a healthy snack each day.  Please no items that require heating up.  If you have questions about meals, please send us a message through our Inquiry Form.

Field Trips

Every grade level will participate in academic-based and mission-based Field Trips.  We believe in learning academically and also helping around our community.  These Field Trips are scheduled ahead of time to give parents the opportunity to attend.  All Field Trips are age-appropriate and will focus on a mission-based or academic topic that grade level is studying.  Some examples include - cleaning up the grounds at a local church, singing at a nursing home, going to Ellington Field to learn about our Military, or using Social Studies Map Skills to complete a scavenger hunt around our community.

UIL

Our Middle School students will have the opportunity to participate in UIL activities through participation in our after school clubs and teams.

P.E. and Enrichment Time

Our Middle School students participate in P.E. and Enrichment time each day.  Enrichment time includes Art and Music each week.  P.E. time is a structured time for games and working together on a team.  Recess is separate from P.E. time.

Parent Policies Handbook

A copy of our Parent Policies Handbook is available upon enrollment.
