Joshua 1:9 Learning Center's tuition is $145.00 per week for school from 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday - Friday for the 2023-2024 school year.
Tuition is based on 9 month contract (August - May). School tuition is paid for every week from August - May, including holiday weeks.
There is a $20.00 Sibling Discount offered off tuition if more than one child is enrolled. The 1st child enrolled will be $145.00 per week, and then any additional children will be $125.00 per child, per week.
Different tuition payment options are available and are listed on the CC Authorization Form on the Apply to Joshua 1:9 page.
We do offer tours of our current location that are set by appointment only in the evenings. Please fill out an inquiry form below with your phone number and we will contact you within 48 business hours to set up a tour.
Tours of our new location in Humble will be given on our upcoming Take a Tour Saturday on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:00am - 1:00pm!

Yes. The Registration Fee for one child is $125.00. The Registration Fee for a family (two or more children) is $200.00 total. Registration Fee(s) are due upon approval of your online enrollment application and will hold your child's spot.
A Supply Fee is paid for each student at the beginning of each school year in late July through the payment info placed on file with our Office.
The Supply Fee covers all art, craft, and school supplies that your child will use throughout the school year. The Supply Fee also includes a testing fee for students in Kindergarten - 6th Grade.
The Supply Fees are as follows:
Preschool 3's and Pre-Kindergarten 4's: $100.00 per child, per school year
Kindergarten - 5th Grade: $150.00 per child, per school year
6th Grade: $175.00 per child, per school year

Yes, our plan is to keep adding a grade level every school year.
For this current school year, our students do not wear uniforms, but beginning for the 2023-2024 school year all of our students will wear uniforms. Uniforms will be required for all students from Preschool all the way through 6th Grade.

For this current school year, all students must bring a packed lunch each day. We provide breakfast and a snack.
For the 2023-2024 school year, each child must bring a packed lunch each day (that does not require heating up) OR there will be a link to be able to purchase a lunch at the school through Healthy Lunchbox. More information on this will be available as the 2023-2024 school year gets closer.
We highly recommend that all children are completely potty-trained and can communicate simple needs. We are not equipped with diapering facilities at our school.
Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes use the Frog Street Press for their curriculum.

Yes, we are accredited through Cognia, which is an internationally accredited program.
Our teachers pull from various curriculum's for each grade level. We follow TEKS as a guideline to ensure our students are meeting educational standards. This is a question that Mrs. Sheila or Ms. Jennifer will be happy to answer further during your tour or we can contact you to explain in more detail what is used in each classroom.
No, our students do not take the STAAR test. Our students in Kindergarten - 6th Grade take the TerraNova test in late April of each school year. The TerraNova test is structured like a PSAT test and we feel it is more developmentally appropriate for our students.
Our Kindergarten - 6th Graders have a rotation of P.E., Art, and Science Lab weekly during Specials time for each grade level. All information about your child's Specials teachers and their schedules will be updated before the start of the school year in August 2023.
Afterschool clubs and Teams are available to our Kindergarten - 6th Grade students. Options include STEM/Robotics team, Martial Arts, Soccer, Cheer team, Art class, and classes for 3rd-6th Graders where they learn various instruments to make our Praise/Worship band.
Yes, for our Kindergarten - 6th Graders, we try to take many Field Trips throughout the school year and alternate them between being educational and ministry based.
Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes will have special events brought to our school from time to time.
As of right now, we will add a grade level per school year until 8th Grade and then we will re-evaulate what The Lord is calling us to do.
No. We follow and teach our students what is written in the Bible. We want to focus on our relationship with Christ and His word. We believe in daily Bible class as well as integrating it into all aspects of our education.
