Our History

Established in August of 2016, Joshua 1:9 Learning Center, Inc. began with a small Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten class with approximately 33 students enrolled.  Throughout that first year, families enrolled their children and immediately felt the warmth and love of our School.

Since 2017, Joshua 1:9 Learning Center, Inc. has grown in the number of families, students, teachers, and staff that have blessed our hallways.  The love and warmth that our students and families continue to feel has only grown since we opened.  

In 2019, we worked diligently with our staff and teachers to pursue accreditation through Cognia.  This was a lengthly process and we are very proud to say that we are accredited through Cognia (formerly AdvancEd).

In August of 2023, God blessed our school with a new location in Humble, Texas.  We packed up and moved our entire school to begin the 2023-2024 year here at our new location.  Currently, our school has grown to 155 students.  For the current School year, we have grade levels from Preschool 3's-4's, Pre-Kindergarten 4's-5's, and Kindergarten through 6th Grade.  We may be a smaller private school, but we believe in teaching our students about the love of God, above all else.  

We continually pray for the course of our school and we firmly believe that God will continue to lead us in the right direction for many years to come!
